PROPOSED HOMES
Spitfire Homes pride themselves on delivering high-quality sustainable homes and creating aspirational places to live which integrate with and have special regard to the character of the local surroundings and the needs of local communities.
The proposed development is located outside Broadway Conservation Area and designated Cotswolds National Landscape, however particular attention has been given to the setting of both. This includes the layout and density of proposed homes, but also the quality and architectural detailing and materials characteristic of existing buildings found within the local area, including both a mix of traditional and more contemporary architectural features and materials.
Development is served from a formal tree-lined linear street positively addressed with built-form. The street is interspersed with key spaces and squares creating a sense of place and visual interest. Many foregardens are framed with a range of locally distinctive boundary treatment types fashioning defensible private spaces. In addition, careful consideration has been given to landscape context, including views to and from the development, as well as a carefully considered landscape design.
